Today, I bring you another Australian Reggae act that has linked up with well know performer Lutan Fyah to produce this song, released earlier this year.
Rasta Unity have been performing around Australia and Brazil since 2010, a lot of their original music spreads the "One Love" message. Political at times, with a track called "Global Warning" and with Australian and Brazilian roots, The band collaborated with Lutan Fyah on this track. The song itself was recorded at Tuff Gong Studios in Jamaica in 2018 and the official video features bath Jamaica and Australia.
"Youth Rize Up" is an uplifting track, reminding us all to cherish our children, teach them right from wrong, and help them find their place in the world. It shows that, no matter where in the world you are, the children are the future and we have to build them up and lead by example. The vocals are smooth, and the riff by Fyah is the middle of the track is the highlight for me. The "youth are the leaders of tomorrow" is a phrase that is often heard, but that really is the message of this track.
